ROB MELANCON
Rob Melancon
CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER
Rob joined HOY Construction in 1992 as Secretary/Treasurer.
He is responsible for all financial aspects of the company. He previously worked for Frederick B. Hill & Co CPAs from June 1984 to December 1991, specializing in construction and real estate accounting and tax services.
Rob has been heavily involved in developing and maintaining HOY’s Employee Stock Ownership Plan, which started in 1993.
Rob has served on the Board of Directors for Junior Achievement of Greater Hampton Roads and previously held the role of Chairman. He has volunteered in the classroom for Junior Achievement as well. Rob is a member of the Hampton Roads Association for Commercial Real Estate (HRACRE) and has served as coordinator for HOY’s United Way Campaign since joining the company.
Rob received his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Virginia Tech in 1984 and is a Certified Public Accountant.
